About Us
My family and I would sincerely like to thank you for taking the time to read our story and engage with our fun! After all, that's what it's all about! Life is going to keep going regardless of the obstacles that come our way. This business represents our philosophy of staying together, to make the hard times easier, so we can continue to push forward: Ride farther. Ride easier. Ride together.
A glimpse of our past might help you understand a little more…
I met my wife in high school in 2003. We were opposites in the social setting — she was very outgoing, engaging, and high-energy, where I was much more of an introvert, the conservative quiet type. As true as it may seem that opposites attract, we definitely shared one very strong common bond: Adrenaline.
I'm not talking about "jumping off of cliffs" adrenaline (well, she will, and I reluctantly have, but that's beside the point). I mean any and all of our dates were some sort of physical activity that we could do together and for free! Hiking, biking, four-wheeling, swimming — we were both down for anything, and I think that's what made our relationship so different and what made it last. We had fun!.. and it didn't just stop with us.
Oddly enough, we were both the oldest of three, and our siblings' ages coincided as well — commonly (or maybe self-proclaimed) the "Italian Brady Bunch!" Our six-pack (ha, get it?) had the same need for speed that we shared, and 23 years later all six of us live in the same town we grew up in — really on the same two streets — and we continue to raise our families with the same values and traditions we grew up with. That's reflected in our logo.
Our corner of the world is magic to us. Heaven on earth. About five years ago, our families expanded and we now have 6 dynamite children — mine and Tara's are Markee and Revin — and we find it most important to share with them what is so easily forgotten in the age of social media: the wonder of the woods and the importance of meaningful, interpersonal relationships.
The stress of social media on children and adolescents is a weight I struggle to fathom. Even as adults, we see people — our own friends — find their identity through likes, shares, and posts. The sole purpose and intention behind starting this business is to remind people that the world is happening all around you, with opportunities around every corner. So don't watch it from your couch.
Give us a call and allow us to personally invite you to our store (which is really our garage in the woods...for now — #fulldisclosure). We can pick out the bikes you like, for the speed you need, with the family you love!
Thanks again, and we hope to see you soon!
